RETAINING A LAWYER
Questions about attorney’s Fees
There is an old saying that you pay for a good lawyer whether you hire one or not. Some people pay in money, others pay by suffering the misfortunes incurred by those without proper representation. I do not charge the same in every case. Even if two cases are nearly identical, there is a difference between the client who wants to plead guilty at the first court hearing and the client who wants to fight the case all the way to the Supreme Court. Both clients should not be charged the same fee.

Are high fees an indication of quality legal services? Paying a lot of money does not ensure that you will get a good legal representation; however, very low fees usually indicate a problem. Some lawyers charge high fees and don’t do much for the client. If the fee is low, it may be an indication that either the lawyer does not understand the complexity of ovi cases or he does not plan on working very hard on the case.
